NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH "Peacemaker Pale Ale". This Juicy IPA adds a unique style with tart and citrusy flavors. Big citrusy aromas come from the hops as well as the yeast. Citrus is presented as lemon and orange. Peach is also picked up in the aroma as well. The body is well-rounded and somewhat full.

This IPA has a heavy fog of golden amber (SRM 5-7). Two inches of dense, off-white foam gradually settle to one half inch. Large patches and rings of sticky lace ornament a Strangebird IIPA glass.
The aroma opens very strong with canned pineapple, closely followed by pine needles. It is earthy, with lemon pith from the middle to the end.
Bitterness is modest and in balance with the sweetness. Mandarin oranges are followed by pineapple and grapefruit while pine straw occupies the middle, and light lemon is showcased in the end. Mild tartness builds in a long and pronounced finish that becomes equally bitter.
A nylon texture and medium body. The carbonation is smooth and fizzy. Alcohol is higher than expected and there is no astringency until very late after considerable warmth. Residual sugar builds on the lips.
The foggy appearance aside, this is a solid East Coast IPA. It works well as a refresher whether following vigorous activity or just to unwind with after a long day. I can't say that I specifically noticed the difference I had expected from the Kveik yeast.
