At Revolution in Charlotte. Hazy orange/brown pour. Nice cream colored head.
Aroma, pretty fruity, some east spiciness. A little malty toffee.
Taste, also quite fruity. Bannana and clove, to a fault almost. Some malty caramel and brown sugar come through. A little nutmeg like spice. Light toasted malt and some cinnamon apple. Might be just a bit too fruit heavy for me.
Let this warm up a bit, a toasted and almost cocoa like note opens up as it does. Pretty nice additions to the other flavors.
Medium bodied and quite creamy. The best part of this one. Alcohol is hidden.
A good example for the style, recommended.

On tap at The Pit
A - dark amber with a big, soft cap of off white head that has great retention
S - bread, dark fruit, plums, spice
T - spicy with a nice bready, sweet, fruity malt body
M - medium bodied, well carbonated, good carbonation
This was a delicious beer. The maltiness was foreward but not overpowering. The yeast added some great spicy notes and contributed a nice fruitiness. I really enjoyed this beer. It paired well with my meal as well. I'll definitely have this again the next time I see it.
