Very, very dark almost perfectly opaque body. Has a small but extremely resilient head, off white in color.
Flavors are whiskey, chocolate malts, biscuit malts, and some herbal hops. Subtle carbonation keeps things easy going. The alcohol is a subtle 7%, which is nice compared to the typical 10%+ in the barrel Aged style.
I enjoyed this much more than I thought I would. Pretty good.
