a neat little series here it looks like, gose with fruit, a fun one for the summer here with guava in it, which i feel like i have been seeing on its own, separate from other fruit, more and more lately which i dig. it has a sort of soft tropical pulpy juicy fleshy sweetness to it, is distinct and also candy-like to me, nice with the salt and the sour in here, both of which are fairly tame. not at all too sour to drink, and the souring here is pretty clean, a little bit of that sweaty thing to it, but not enough to slow this down, even as a pint beer. the fruit is forward in the mix, but its not too much, since this is fermented down to close to dry and there is a little lemony acidity to balance it out through the finish. nice carbonation, which is essentially mandatory in a beer like this, and a pillowy wheaty vibe to the feel, plush and inviting. hints of passion fruit and lime at the end too, and the minerals of the salt that make this quenching and sort of addicting. i liked this quite a bit, and see the potential for all kinds of other fruits to make this a seasonal series that works anytime of year, apples in the fall would be cool for the next one! not perfectly refined, but a cool beer from a brewery i didnt know messed around with sours.
