Canned on September 4th 2025,bought locally.
Pours a clear light amber with over a finger of foam, very good retention and lacing.
Smell is big note of bread, bit of caramel, light fruity notes, low level of bitterness.
The taste is bread, caramel malt, toasted malt, some caramel that doesn't translate to sweetness. Bitterness level is very low. This is more of a Marzen style of Oktoberfest than a Festbier.
Good mouthfeel and carbonation is spot on.
I would drink this again.

Appearance: Pours a clear amber color capped with a one-finger head; decent retention and spotty lacing
Smell: Crusty bread and caramel; earthy and a hint of tea
Taste: Crusty bread and caramel tones forward with an earthy, tea-influenced aspect building; the sweeter side re-emerges to glide home in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Nice job with the Oktoberfest style here
Thanks, muchloveforhops3, for the opportunity

first kettlehouse beer ive had i some time, a sturdy take on the style, brick red in the glass and with a high rising peaky frothy off white head, looks great from the pint can, nice and clear and real bubbly. toasted and decidedly german in the nose, grain driven of course, without a ton of caramelized sweetness, less of that munich bready richness, more earthy, very autumnal to me, a kilned malt sort of dryness even though there is some residual sugar here, light maple, complimentary minerality, mild lager yeast character here too but with some old world authenticity. the flavor follows, less rich and deep than the color suggests, nutty and warm to me but still light, the lager yeast is more expressive here and this opens up well as it sits, notes of bran, leather, and even almond. ever so slightly astringent for just a second, then smooth and cold and wet, refreshing as these go, but still with some substance to it, nice overall balance with some back end noble type hop bitterness finishing it off. frothy feeling with great carbonation that doesnt quit, and overall a very pleasant fall drinker, a nice watching football kind of beer, did the trick for me! thanks to a friend of a friend for the hookup here, always enjoy trying as many different takes on these as i can every fall!
