I had this in cans when my Polish wife brought me to Gdansk to meet her parents and see her homeland. Redd's comes in apple and in a berry flavor that I can't remember now, so I'll just give my opinion on the apple version.
It's basically a standard larger with apple flavor--I'm certain it's not just flavoring, it been brewed with apples.
Redd's are pretty easy to drink, almost like a soda, except they have a little tart hoppy taste as it hits your mouth with a sweet dryish aftertaste. Might be too sweet for some, but I like sampling various kinds of fruit and spice beers when I get the chance, so I'm accustomed to the sweetness that one frequently encounters with fruit beers.
I'm not a big fan of largers so I think flavored largers like Redd's are better than most since the flavor at least makes it interesting to drink. If I could get my hands on some in the states, it would be a decent beer to sort of wind down a night of serious drinking.
