Drunk at a Bar in Poznan Suárez Miesto (Poland). Half liter glass.
-Small foam head. Dark amber colour.
-Watery toffee smell.
-Very light Vienna Lager taste.
-Carbonation clearly felt.
Amberish Vienna lagers in Spain are very very heavy in Alcohol contento and feel, and this one not. My cheers on achieving flavour without getting too alcoholic heavy.

Bought from Rick's Foods (in a Harwood Heights strip mall, not far from O'Hare.) Rick's specializes in Polish imports.
A pretty good Looker among a pretty good looking lager style. Smells are mostly malt, good but more modest. Tastes are balanced: just enough hops to balance out the sweet. Just enough bubbles to clear the palate. Suitable for lunch with a mild sandwich.
My first from Piwowarska, so I went on their website and, to my surprise, found the English button. They also push all the sustainability and good employer buttons. A sophisticated website with some beautiful advertising, they also tell their whole story about consolidating three large brewers after the fall of Communism and putting together a company good enough to be bought by SABMiller and who, recently, sold it to Asahi. I suppose some good brand managing has gone on at key moments, but they have produced a very nice Vienna.
And for all that, you get to learn some Polish .... Na Zdrowie! (Nah zdrov-e-yay) per Google "Without doubt the most common toast, it's essentially the Polish version of “Cheers!”. This ubiquitous phrase is one no traveler to the lands of Poland should be without. It literally means “to health” and can also be used to say “Bless you”." This helps explain what, to me, is an impenetrable language.

Pours clear, amber in color with one quarter inch head. Taste is wheat bread and toasted malt with light earthy hops. Light bodied, moderate carbonation, sweet. Makes for a really good example of the style. Would get this again if I wanted a Vienna lager. Nice and sessionable.

On-draught into a weiss glass in Vilnius. Reviewed from notes taken Summer 2014.
APPEARANCE: White head of above average (~3 minute) retention. Average creaminess and thickness.
BODY: Vibrant clean copper colour. Transparent.
AROMA: Copper malts, fruity hops, amber malts, bread crust, toast, graham cracker, and fruit (maybe cherry?) syrup.
No alcohol, spice, or off-notes are detectable.
A pleasant aroma of mild strength.
TASTE & TEXTURE: Syrupy. Fruit syrup flavour is prominent alongside graham cracker and fruity hops. Caramalt and amber malt sweetness. Bread crust.
Smooth, thick, wet, unrefreshing. Build is cohesive but it isn't a well balanced brew. Slightly overcarbonated.
OVERALL: A decent macrobrew. Too sweet and artificial to be highly drinkable, but it's alright. I wouldn't get it again or recommend it to others.

A: clear copper colour, white head that settles quick
S: caramel
T: taste follows nose, caramel and toasty malts, noble hops in the finish, light bitter aftertaste
M: light body, watery mouthfeel, light carbonation
O: not a very exiting beer, however this was still beter than most Polish macro-lagers I tried, that being said I wouldn't have it again
