As a true microbrew, I would disagree with previous reviews since I tried this wonderful beer in December 2017. My wife and I felt, at that time, that batch of beer was one of the best we'd ever had. It had complexity + smoothness + balanced taste with no bitterness. I joined this site just to write a good review for this beer. We plan to visit Dachau again, and hike to the top of the town center hill just for this beer...and buy a pint glass this time!

Deep golden color with small head. Very clear for a kellerbier.
Aroma is dominated by grains and some biscuits and caramel.
Taste starts very balanced but gets a bit metallic at the end. You can also feel the hops leaving a bitter aftertaste.
Body is medium and has a good amount of carbonation. Maybe a bit too fizzy for my taste, especially for this style.
Overall this is a decent beer. Worth trying but nothing to stand out.
