Poured from a can, cloudy goldenrod with a big fluffy head. Smell of grapefruit and mango. Taste follows with mild hops, fruit forward juiciness. I like this style a lot. A fruit juice feel, overall delicious.

Decanted from a 12 oz (355 ml) can into a conical pint glass; best by 09/13/20.
A: Pours a hazy, golden (orange) color with a one finger, white head, solid retention, and rings of complex lacing.
S: The aromas of white grapefruit and nectarine are strongest with a clear caramel core.
T: Semidry. Flavors a melange of the aromas with moderate, well balanced bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Creamy.
O: Surprised that this is the first time I have having this. Gorgeous: complex, flavorful, creamy, easy drinking.

Dark orange in color with murky, hazy, unfiltered appearance. Poured with a moderate, bright white foam with, sticky, medium retention. Medium fruity and citrus rind aromas with medium maltiness. Medium bodied with medium light carbonation and a pleasant, creamy smooth feel. Fruity and citrus flavors with medium light bitterness. Medium malt flavors. Finished with citrus fruity flavors followed by a brief, light hop bitterness. Hop character was generally lacking, but this was agreeable and very easy drinking.

T: A good upgrade from the regular ranger IMO, A slightly sweet, herbal medium body IPA.
F: Smooth, crisp, not too thick, slightly dry.
O: A better version of voodoo ranger, solid hazy IPA.

Pours orange with a 1 inch thick, white head. Heavy lacing. Hazy.

Aroma is orange, pineapple, mango, pine.

Taste is orange zest, pineapple, slight herbal. Resiny.

Medium bodied, light carbonation. Semi-sweet, tangy finish.

One of the best hazy IPA's I've had.

I love the look of this one. Looks like some real fruit juice with lacing. The smell is of guava and orange. The taste is great, a mix of guava, grapefruit, orange rinds, and malts. I would say the mouthfeel is the weak point. Pretty thin and not comforting. Overall, a good deal at $11 a sixer.

Appears hazy golden yellow.
Smells citrusy, piney, Grapefruit lightly bready.
Taste follows the nose with hops definitely forward.
Mouth feel is medium for the style.
Overall a nice juicy hazy IPA that I would definitely drink again.

I really like it ! Got it in a variety pack and I would definitely get again. Pretty smooth flavor and a good feel but the smell and coloring of it are the best parts.

Very well rounded and drinkable hazy ipa. It almost goes down to well for 7.5% abv. Taste like citrusy and tropical fruit hops with a bitter finish. It feels very crisp. Juicy Haze is my favorite of the Voodoo Ranger series. This something that I definitely look forward to having again soon.

Good light color for the style, nice head, I don't mind the haze, partial to non-filtered beers. Aroma a little muddled, but nice citrus overtones. Flavor follows the aroma, again some nice flavors but not very focused. Body a little light for an IPA, but acceptable and fits the beer. Basically, this is a very nice beer that tries to hard for complexity and therefore loses something in focus. Nevertheless, enjoyable and worth it.

Body and nose fit the style. Plenty of haze and fruity aromas, but little head. The flavor is kind of glazed over with fruit initially before the hops chime in at the fnish. Low carbonation is a nice touch. This is a pretty decent interpretation of the style. The alcohol doesn't feel onerous, but the texture still feels as if maybe its not pulling its weight. Still pretty easy to slam at seven and a half percent.

Not in-your-face juicy or sweet, but with a drier finish than is standard for the style I found this to be very crushable and lacking the cloying aspects or vegetal aspects that can bring down some of the others in this style. Mouthfeel is superb and head stuck around nicely throughout.

12oz can, date stamped 17 May 2020. A nice hazy yellowish and orange body. Poured into a clear beer stein creating a very nice and thick off-white head. Juicy, tropical aroma with an orange and grapefruit feel. A good tasting beer with a great tropical fruit flavor. Definitely one I'll grab on a day when I want to relax around my pool and/or when having a good meal. Very good IPA.

Though a very good beer, it does come across as something that we all have had before. It is certainly well worth buying and drinking but it does seem to lack the extra zest or appeal of other hazy IPA's. Oh, I would buy this beer again, have no doubt, it just seemed to lack an exceptional quality to really put it over the top of some others. That extra 'wow' factor. A nice aroma of citrus when opened. It poured a nice big juicy foamy-head that quickly dissipated, showing some nice lacing. Deep, wheat-amber, color. Hazy, dirty if you prefer. The taste was flavorful and not overwhelming. The carbonation was slight and not overbearing as well. It would be quite good with some gourmet mac & cheese.

Nice hazy yellow color, mild citrus smell and taste but not overt. Similar to Skulpin grapefruit but not as strong a citrus taste. Skulpin is a good followup to this beer. I like it a lot. Definitely an A+ beer.

Excellent IPA! Very hazy and juicy, as the name would suggest. The 7.5 ABV definitely sneaks up on you because there is no hint of the high alcohol content in the taste. Had it on draft in a nice tall 22oz glass at Red Robin in California, MD. I think I will have another!

First off, I am a big fan of the Voodoo Ranger line and that may factor into my review slightly, but fear not...I will make this as unbiased as I can make it.

I love the Ranger artwork. I design logos and make signs so naturally I'm paying close attention to company branding. New Belgium goes all out with Voodoo Ranger. I've tried Juicy Hazy before... and when I found this 6er' of 12 oz cans on sale for $8.00 and some change I jumped on it (Normally these types of 6 packs run $12.99 here in NC). Other than the original VD, the Juicy Hazy is my second favorite. I'm working on beer #2 and I can feel the 7.5% alcohol kick in... But I can't taste it whatsoever. A mellow smell, hardly there... Sweet and innocent. The taste is smooth and easy, a taste you can really enjoy. I love fruit and I get a lot of that sweetness you get from fruit cups ( the juice that's in the fruit cups). Needless to say, this lovely tasting concoction will surely get your taste buds excited.... And it will get your ass drunk way faster than you realize! Be careful with this one my friends!

The color of the beer, poured into my little 6oz snifter glass, is a dark yellow, 'not quite' mustard color, and you can't see through it at all. It has a nice half inch head and nice lacing along the glass (you know where it's been). I love how it tastes. Im not good at describing flavors mixed together but I can tell you it's flavorful. Well worth the money. I think I'll grab #3 now

On tap at Brickyard, served in a chalice.

Appearance is reminiscent of orange juice; medium hazy orange with a fluffy white head that retains well.

Lots of citrus fruit character on the nose; orange and tangerine lead the way. Juicy is accurate.

Taste follows the nose, the fruit juice character is prominent and there are plenty of notes of orange, tangerine, and even peach. Malt character is suppressed; low bitterness.

Medium body with soft carbonation; juicy rather than bitter. Refreshing.

Not my first time having this one, but on-tap it drinks tastier than the last can I had. This is a pretty good beer.

Gold to straw yellow in color with a pronounced haziness. There’s a three quarter inch of frothy and creamy off white on top. The aroma is of citrus and tropical fruit. I’m tasting tangerine and lemon. The mouth is smooth, creamy, and dry.

Looks like orange juice. Nose is tropical fruits, hoppy, dank, herbal, sweet malts, maybe some pine and red grapefruit. Taste is pineapple, tangerine, nectarine, mango, hops, resiny dankness. Mouthfeel is medium with good bitterness on the back end,, but not too much. Somewhat chewy but finishes in the dry side. This was pretty good. Might be my favorite offering from NB. Tomorrow I will try their Imperial 9% ABV version and compare.
