Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.

Real creamy frothing large forming head, with extremely tight bubbles, practically nitrous looking. Bleach white with a big island cap and thick lacing. Opaque and hazy body, hinting more of a simple orange color, not quite making turbidity but close. Nice aggressive looking IPA.

Hop angle goes for light touch of tropical but with a mix of grass and candy like aromas. Hints a little chalky slightly on the nose a bit, with some noticeable sweetness of caramel. Very hop forward though and pleasant.

Palate is quite nice. A good truly juiced up and full rich mouthfeel, giving to nice fruits of tropical melon and tangerine like orange. Faint hint of biscuit malt and some good sweetness that isn't overbearing. Finishes with a bit of herbal to spicy/grass like hop quality also, giving some nice balancing bitternss as well.

A pretty straightforward juiced IPA that doesn't go overboard on sweetness, or hops.

This one is pretty tasty, with a lot of thick mouthfeel, presumably descended from the haze. A touch of sweet, a blend of hoppy flavors, and not too much bitter cap this one off.

Fits the bill. juicy and hazy. Nice Beer for a lazy Summer afternoon.
Beginning with the look. somewhat medium tint orange color much like orange juice with a pillowy foam that thins out to a lingering head. like all New Belgium Beers, this one retains a beautiful lacing on the glass. Now regarding the smell. This beer is not the most aromatic. very faint in the smell. Citrus and slight hint of pine. very big on the tropical pineapple and dankness. maybe a little bit of floral blossom. Let's move on to taste. The first impression of this beer is "juice Box" so, they pretty much accomplished what this beer is all about. at the front you get a pleasant balanced Tropical Pineapple and citrus with the hops dankness and bitterness following along. the middle and finish are consistent all the way throughout the sip. the flavors mend into a simi-bitter aftertaste. Doesn't clean up on the pallett. Lingering sweetness and touch of alcohol. Rich and decetant, but at the same time light. the bitterness is there but nowhere close to a standard American IPA. Easy Beer to drink, .The feel is the most redeeming quality about this beer. Oh my God its thick! Creamy and rich. I love the medium heavy body. almost shake like. low to medium carbonation, juicy. Its exactly what they put on the label. So I'v got to hand it to em, Voodoo Ranger doesn't disappoint! For the new Style of IPA, This is a pretty good tasting and enjoyable Brew. I Think this beer would be a great way to turn someone on to IPAs if the have never had one.

There is a best by date on the bottom of the can. The pour is a hazy light orange. The aroma is citrus. On the taste i'm getting oranges, grapefruit, & mango with a slight bitterness on the finish. Cheers! B

Straight from the can, so no idea on appearance. We'll give it a 4. Initial impression is pineapple and pine. Mouthfeel is lighter than I'd prefer for a beer of this style and ABV. Finish is somewhat bitter, which is surprising given the experience leading up to the finish. I've not been a fan of New Belgium, and this one does nothing to change my opinion.

Bought a 6pack cans $8.88 Foodland
Smell of citrus
Very hazy golden orange color, reminds me of orange-passion fruit juice
Medium- heavy mouthfeel
Medium carbonation
Taste like juice, no bitterness typical of IPAs, easy drinking
Overall it is exactly what the name implies so rating it higher for that, but seems to have lost beer characteristics.

All the components do not add up to a cohesive profile. Everything just falls short. The worst part is that the hoppyness is barely tasted, yet leaves a linger in the throat not unlike a poorly constructed DIPA. It is not awful per se, but misses out on key aspects of the NEIPA.

Appearance: Pours a completely hazy orange color with an off-white, hazy tint and a strong lacy head.
Aroma: Very strong aroma of tropical fruit and citrus. Heavy pineapple, guava, papaya, melon. Some pine bitterness as well. Lighter and more citrusy tropical fruit than many other IPAs.
Taste: Flavor follows the nose with mostly citrus and light tropical fruit. Citrus and pineapple fruit mostly. Piney, but not dank. Orange, pineapple, grapefruit. A mild amount of hop bitterness. A piney bitterness is still present. here.
Feel: Medium to light bodied for the ABV. Bitterness is present but attenuated. Very smooth, but not creamy.

Overall: This is a decent representation hazy east-coast style IPA. Hits the fruit flavors. Hop bitterness is attenuated. Not overly sweet. Lighter bodied. Drinks light, crisp, and clean like a juicy east-coast IPA should. Smooth, but not on the creamy level. Slightly more bitterness than some of the gold-standard NEIPAs, but it darn near close. Probably 85-90% leans NEIPA. Is it the best IPA on the market? Probably not. But it can stand up to the style it represents. I'd give it more respect.

a) Wins 4.25 on the creamy, lasting, lacing massive thick head over the apricot hazed body.
s) Flower shop meets orange juicery.
t) Way too many flowers in the mouth, but interesting, and despite the overflowing orange juice, it's big yet not cloying.
Cake, shortbread, strawberry, with orange icing and flowers on top. (if you like this description, you'll love the beer)
f) Also interesting, just enough chalky resistance and cleansing action to satisfy.
o) YOU MUST LOVE FLOWERS and Pollen to love this beer. Extraordinary if you do, to fussy if you dont. (me)

Living up to the hazy sobriquet it’s like cement and orange juice had a baby. Nice juicy (also living up to its name) and fruity hop nose. Served on draft at a little too cold I need to let this ale sit for a few. Once it got there The was nice orange citrus and a hint of lemon. The hops are more in the background than other hazy IPA I’ve had. Very nice feel while drinking.

Wow. Looks amazing. I love cloudy beers, and this one's no exception. 5 for appearance. Thick, foamy head. Smells like basil, orange juice, lemongrass, yeast, mango, peppercorn and rosemary. Tastes good! A nice balance of flavor, with the mango, oj and hop being the main flavor of the beer along with smooth malts to balance it out. You can taste the lemongrass and yeast in the aftertaste. I had no clue that this was 7.5 ABV until I checked BA, I couldn't believe it. Checked the bottle, and sure enough. Feels like a 4.5 max. Super smooth, not quite like the Voodoo Ranger Imperial though. Overall, not disappointed at all! Still like the Imperial IPA a little more, but this one's damn good. Easily 6-packable.

12 oz. Bottle

Poured into a tulip a pretty nice cloudy yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger white head, which also leaves some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango), with some little diesel like. The taste is nice hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango), nice little diesel like. Medium body, ABV is hidden nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a tasty brew. Addictive! Orange Juilus! Milkshake!.

It’s definitely something different. I am kinda going back and forth on this one. To me, it seems to more of an early beer than a late night beer. May work well with brunch. I don’t feel guilty drinking this before 11am. Overall, I like it.

12 oz. bottle, Enjoy By 26 May 2019. “India Pale Ale with spice”

Hazy? Check. Translucent straw color with a finger’s white large bubbled head, Spotty lacing, full blanket on the surface
Aroma. Check. Orange, grapefruit, pepper, allspice, New Belgium yeast
Taste? Ummmm, not sure. Pale malt, yeast, some spice and grass, light citrus. Can’t say I get juice from this one.
Flavors open up as it warms, more citrus, more yeast. Mouthfeel is not soft, more nicely bitter.
I am not sure what the spice is, but I think it messes with the juicy hop flavors. Or maybe this bottle is too old, or I just don’t get it. All possible.

Look: Pours a dark-orange color resembling orange juice with a beautiful white head with an orange peel tint to it.

Smell: A plethora of delightful hops and floral notes quickly fill the olfactory from up close and personal or from across the room. It's best served in a goblet or an open-rimmed glass to really appreciate all of the smells that it has to offer.

Taste: Juicy

Feel: A very smooth mouthfeel and smooth going down. You wouldn't think this beer was %7.5 ABV.

Overall: This was an excellent beer from an excellent brewery. I'll definitely be a repeat customer!

A: Pours a cloudy yellow-orange - typical NEIPA look.

S: Bright citrus tones; a strong lemon zest aroma.

T: Follows - bright citrus (orange pulp, lemon zest), nice floral notes that help it "pop", kinda has that wheat beer flavor almost but in an IPA way? Hope that makes sense. Nice middle ground between soft-and-juicy and west-coast-floral.

M: Wonderfully carbonated and zippy.

O: What I love about this beer is that it's a widely available New England style IPA that doesn't disappoint. In TN we get the wonderful Bearded Iris's brews, which mostly consist of this style. They're expensive (but usually pretty awesome). If you're low on cash but want that same New England-style beer, I'd say that this is the go-to.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Shaker pint glass, "ENJOY BY" date "05MAY19".

APPEARANCE: pours a cloudy and incredibly dense straw color with one-finger white head that slowly dissipated until a thin, unbroken layer of small bubbles remained, medium carbonation (I think?) there is heavy lacing on the glass.

SMELL: bread, orange citrus and pineapple, there is also an earthy note.

TASTE: the taste follows the nose, initially sweet citrus of orange and pineapple, bread and then finishes with an earthy note.

PALATE: velvety smooth and medium carbonation.

OVERALL: this is an excellent beer, I enjoyed this and would recommend to anyone who enjoys the style, I would purchase this again no problem and will definitely buy again.

Pours a hazy yellow with an orange center tint. Small head but fades slowly. Good lacing. Smells great. Very floral and citrusy. Tastes hoppy but not over powering. Orange citrus. Good mouthfeel with solid body and carbonation. Not too much bite for 7.5%. Overall very good and flavorful ipa but not so much it punches you in the mouth. Would get again.

Appearance – This poured a beautiful light hazy orange in color with a tremendous white fluffy head.

Smell – The soft hops are citrusy in nature but diverse with some nice orange and lime notes.

Taste – The hops are much bigger at the taste. The citrus is still there but takes a back seat to some bigger PacNW-style hopping. The malt is there but definitely in the background.

Mouthfeel – This just is medium-bodied with little drying and light carbonation.

Drinkability – As sessionable as a 7.5% AIPA can me. It is light due to the use of American hefeweizen yeast and incredibly smooth.

24oz draft.
Cloudy, hazy orange.. nice off-whte head.
Smells of pineapple, orange and light GF.
Taste of pineapple is quite prevalent, with a bevy of citrus flavors along for the show.
Hop bitterness is light, MF is medium smooth. Very light on the carbonation.
Not a draft guy, but I took a drink of Juicy Haze from my wife's glass, and said..oh, this is my next beer. 'tis a very well put together beer.

Look- hazy, dark golden color
Smell- slightly fragrant, fruity orange/grapefruit smell. Not a ton going on unfortunately
Taste- about the same. Fruity, mildly bitter ipa
Feel- easy drinking, non offensive.
Good ipa from new belgium. Would buy over the regular voodoo, but prefer the imperial ipa

this ranger series keeps on going, man its terrible branding, but in this case, its a terrible beer name too, i mean come on, juicy haze?! ugh. the beer is better than this though, its low bitterness, high fruity hopped, not so hazy its hard to drink, and pretty darn available, which is appealing in this style where everything seems to be about rarity and hype and waiting in line for cans and all that, this one is all over the place. pale wheaty looking brew with an orange tint, a nice inch of white head, and not so much density that it looks gross, more unfiltered in appearance than intentionally cloudy. aroma and flavor are bright, mango and passion fruit juice come to mind, mandarin orange from the can, and just a little vegetal greenness, nothing harsh at all. its sweet in the middle in an oily hoppy sort of way, and its dry by the finish with surprisingly a little more grain to it than a lot of these have, i taste the cereals in the finish, giving this a cool kind of balance. im not saying this is amazing, but it definitely drinks, and its well ahead of what i expected from it. this series of beers has been lackluster at best, but this one scratched the itch for me last night...
