In Laurel.
LOOK: Pours a highly hazed light gold color with an al-white tight head. Head retention is good, side glass lace is excellent.
AROMA: Some sharp dank pine immediately hits the nose, so much so that the citrus while there is a distant second. Also some flowery hop aroma present.
TASTE: Surprise, aroma did not suggest it would be so smooth. Citrus takes more of a front seat along with a malt texture.
Drying, with low bitterness.

Looks great in the glass. Has a really healthy head. Okay, tastes like pesh. Lidl's German IPAs are better than this. No flavour. Bit of corn in the finish, and I'm not sure that's a good thing. Disillusioned with American beer :-(.

Citrus like an orange with rind providing the light bitter bite at the end.
Overall a nice balanced taste.
Mild alcohol tang after you swallow.

As another reviewer mentioned, it looks like a hefe. Smells okay. Strong citrus. Whatever the "spice" part is definitely becomes more prevalent as the beer warms. Peppery. Smooth. Not sweet. A little bitter. I'm not mad that I bought these after not having for a long time. Wouldn't seek out, but it'll do nicely if options are slim. Oddly chuggable for 7.5%, but then again, it seems like NB is going for drinkability these days that affordability is so unobtainable.

From a 12oz can. Best by February 22, 2026.

This beer looks like a hefe in my glass. The appearance is slightly murky looking and a golden lemon color to it. With an aggressive pour, I got a 4 finger white colored head. The head retention is pretty good, and there's a bit of lacing on my glass.
The IPA is pretty old, but I am getting an earthy tropical citrus aroma to this beer with notes of pine. It is actually quite pleasing.
The flavor is pretty mellow up front. There's hints of malt up front. This does change toward the hops on the finish. I am getting that earthy tropical note as well as a hint of pine all from the hops. Not a lot of bitterness on the finish, just a hint of it.
The body does seem decent for the style and ABV. Not really resin feeling. Clean feeling.
I've had this before, and it isn't a bad beer at all. Well made.

Hazy light yellow pour, tight white foam head. Nose is wheaty and tropical.

Taste is bright & sweet citrus, some banana, chewy bread, lime zest, light kilned malt. Mouthfeel is zesty and medium. Finish supplies creamy lemon and a yeasty drying note. Manages the 7.5% quite well.

I taste citrus, apple, and a little bit of banana and bubblegum at times. Strong bitterness, but easy to drink. Has surprising malt presence for what it is.
