Opens with a resounding pop!
Pours a ruddy & effervescent hazel/auburn with a pinky of tan head. Some head retention & lacing
S: Cherries, some tartness, wine barrels
T: Tart cherries, a little sweet, some barrel dryness/rawness, hints of white wine oak barrels as well up front. Cherries & white wine fighting it out, plenty of oakyness/dryness, a little leafy hop. Finishes with much dry, oaky & white wine notes, plus sweet & tart cherries
MF: Medium body, restrained carbonation, a little warming
Drinkability isn't bad, just not into sours much anymore especially in large format bottles, a reason I sat on this for a few years
