LOOK: Pours a hazy very pale orange color with a slightly less than a pure white head that slowly recedes to a thin skin. Some side glass lace remains
AROMA: Pine Reisen, sharp aromatic hops, wet dough or bread malts.
TASTE: More of the same. Flavor is mostly mildly citrus with orange and grapefruit. Malts are evident.
Drying at finish.

L - poured from 32oz crowler. Nice clear Amber with a finger of white head

S - no dominant smell a little citrus hops

T- mostly Carmel Malta at the start then just bitterness from the hops but no hop taste.

F- nice bodies easy to drink beer.

O- best one I have tried from this brewery, wouldn't drive cross country again to seek it out but if you are in the area it is worth a try.

Poured from a crowler into a Spiegelau IPA glass.

Deep amber with pale tangerine orange hues. Very clear nearly crystal in appearance. Not a spot of carbonation. Khaki colored head, two fingers off white with lots of amount of ring and fine lacing.

Toasted malt aromas are prominent. Good. Hints of clove. Hop angle is quite distant and muted. A slight bit of floral and some spruce like pine but a little buried. Definitely caramel tones making a presence in amber ale fashion.

Very weird palate. Light and wet bodied, with a dry and washing caramel flavor. Dry and flour like grain flavor and a big charge of boiled hop tasting bland hop but prominent stinging bitterness on the aftertaste. Subsequent sips make for more tolerable experience.

Light bodied amber with a bittering hop profile that lacks aroma and flavor. Drinkable but lacks the IPA character that would make it memorable.

From the 32 oz. crowler. Sampled on May 23, 2016.

It pours copper-amber with a long lasting off-white head and a slight haze.

The aroma is full of floral and spicy characters with the toasted malts downplayed but still noticeable.

Medium body and reasonably smooth.

the same floral and herbal notes are all over the taste with a muted malt character and a bitter finish. The bitterness definitely stands out.
