Served in a tall flared pokal at the brewpub.
It seems as though the guys at Limestone brew a berry beer every year to commemorate the late Prof. Darnell. Last year was a strawberry or raspberry wheat, I think; this year, it's a blueberry wheat. It pours a hazy sunset straw topped by a half-finger of light off-white foam. The nose comprises blueberries and extremely light wheat. Well, at least the blueberries smelled kinda fresh... The taste holds notes of blueberries, wheat, light grass, flowers, and some exceedingly light corn. The body is a hefty light, with a moderate carbonation and a lightly grainy feel. Overall, a decent brew, one that definitely lives up to the berry ale moniker. It's just that it's so berry-involved that it becomes almost tiresome (if that makes sense outside of some sort of snobby art-critic mindset...).
