Served in a tumbler pint glass.
Appearance : 80% hazy mango colored body, and large and sticky 2 finger white cap on top. Head leaves gorgeous lace as it recedes slowly and sits at a finger. Above average appearance for a Saison.
Smell : Smells like a bakery. Lots of fresh baked and uncooked dough/yeast, yeast strains, lemon, orange, and blueberry. Some malts and chemical behind that.
Taste : Some wild yeast strains going on right off the bat with a bit of hop action. Lots of odd zing and bacteria. This mixture turns out lemon poppyseed muffin, citrus pith, kidney bean, flower/flower stem, and grainy malts. I seriously don't know what to think about this beer. It's so unique, but man it tastes funky. There's just this overabundance of bacteria and yeast going on, its like...well...cunnilingus.
Feel : Highly creamy, buzzing carbonation beneath. Ends semi-dry.
Overall : Too weird for me. I think I'll pass next time. Not as bad as some, but for sure the bacteria/yeast thing is throwing me off. Funny Cunny! After it warms a fair bit it ends up tasting like a wet yeasty metallic vaginal orange flipper.

A: Half way between gold and bronze in hue with a huge, steady frothy head and great lacing
S: Lots of citrus, grass, hay, even a bit peppery; this smells quite good
T: Fruity up front: pineapple especially with some grassy, floral notes on the back end; a pretty pleasant bready base but a bit too malty in the finish
F: Creamy up front with a touch of effervescent carbonation on the back end; a bit thin on the finish
O: This is one of the better beers I have had from these guys; not quite a saison like its Belgian counterparts but grassy and fruity and pretty yummy just the same
