Type: .5L draft
Glass: .5L Panama 66 pint glass
From: Blind Lady Ale House in Normal Heights (San Diego), Calif.
Price: $4.00
Purchased: Nov. 10, 2017
Consumed: Nov. 10, 2017
Reviewed as: New England IPA
Misc.: Collab between Automatic and Burgeron
Finally made my way out for a San Diego Beer Week event, I think my first ever. Once I heard $4 drafts from 11:30 a.m.-6 p.m. at Blind Lady Ale House and Tiger! Tiger! I decided to make my way over to BLAH. After having Highland Park and Cellarmaker, it was onto this collaboration between Automatic and Burgeon.
Poured a straw hazy color with three fingers of frothy white head. No noticeable bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Almost perfect foamy lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled trash (which can be Mosaic or Galaxy for me), vegetables, grass, guava, melon and cantaloupe. (Smell - 3.50)
Tasted guava, papaya, Mosaic, Galaxy, green vegetables, grass, melon and cantaloupe. (Taste - 3.50)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Dry finish. (Feel - 3.75)
Not a big fan of this one really. Would not want to have it again. (Overall - 3.50)
