The beer poured a dark cordovan with a tan head. The aroma was of malt and dark fruits. The taste started strongly of malt then finished with a good tanin kick. The feel was thick and oily. I was fairly impressed with this one. I plan on going back before it's gone to get some more. Quite a beer to sit and sip although it probably misses out on the bitter part of the name it is extra special.
