Picked this up at a great little beer store in Arlon, Belgium, Miorge Mihoublon. Hazy golden-yellow pour with a foamy pure white three finger head with decent retention and lacing. The dry-hopping really comes through in the nose with nice perfumey and floral hop notes along with hints of lemon, grass, pine, and subtle white pepper and vinous notes. The taste follows suit with lots of grassy lemon up front along with hints of grapefruit, white pepper, pine, orange zest, and some subtle funk. The mouthfeel is a bit disappointing. Really lacking the prickly carbonation I like in a Saison. It's still light and refreshing and very drinkable with a tangy dry finish. Overall, a very flavorful, hoppy Saison.

i really liked this one, on tap for a very affordable price as italians go at falling rock. its a very subtle beer, hazy and straw colored without much head but plenty of carbonation still. the nose on this is great, tangy green gooseberry seems to be there, with a spice from the yeast and an almost white wine element above the wheat malt base thats very delicate. the flavor is sort of delicate too, not as way out there and odd as so many of the other italian beers coming in right now, but extremely well done. there is some cool mellow fruitiness, kiwi and melon, and the hops are different too, bitter enough but vegetal and green all the way. i love the complexion of it on the whole, its an interesting saison with a yeast strain that is so much less funky than i expected it to be, especially compared to its peers, but it has a spice profile that i have not seen before. it almost tastes like its been in a wine barrel, i swear it has an oaky thing going on. this is one of the italian producers i have not had much beer from, so it was really cool to see this one. excellent saison, but subtle i thought as the italians go.

Greenish yellow, slightly veiled. Average white foam, a lot of carbonation.
In the nose the hop dominates. Some yellow peach, gooseberry, some pepper, and a sweet finish.
Some fruitiness in the taste too, then some citric. Very dry, good drinkability.
Citrus fruit, tangerine and lemon are quite strong.
Again citric aftertaste, white flowers, and a good dry finish.
Well done, but not exceptional.
