This was a very nice experience...

Bright, straw-colored brew with a nice frothy head. The smell was an almost perfect blend of floral and citrus notes that truly worked together. Mouthfeel is light and crisp with a taste that follows the tongue but with a more "in-your-face" aspect to it (in a good way.) Hence, I give this a nice overall score.

Light gold pour, steady white head if tightly packed bubbles. Nose is floral and citrus.

Taste sees citrus, melon, sweet herbal, light kilned malt. Light mouthfeel. Finish is more of the same with some pine resin peaking through.

A: crystal clear; pale gold in color; 1 finger white head that receded to a wispy cap with a thick tight collar; light lacing;

S: sweet malt with a slight medicinal note;

T: follows the nose from start to finish; the medicinal character is stronger at the end; moderate bitterness on the finish;

M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;

O: underwhelming;

12 oz can from Total Wine and More in Short Pump, VA The ale poured a hazy pale yellow with a white foamy head. The head quickly dissipated and left some lacing. The aroma of lemon zest, pine resin, and pale malts was detected. The flavors were fresh lemon and hints of pine resin. The ale has a light body and average-soft carbonation.

Serving: 355 ml can poured into a 14.5 oz Rastal Teku glass (6-pack picked up at Lemons’ Philo Market).

Appearance: Clear, pale golden yellow with a finger of white frothy head.

Smell: Crisp aromas of pine, lemon citrus, pale malt and slightly dank hops.

Taste: Clean flavor follows the nose with pine, lemon zest, tropical fruit, saltine crackers and moderate bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Light body and moderate carbonation.

Overall: Light but flavorful, crisp and easy drinking.

12 oz cans in northern California.

Slightly hazy and very pale golden body with a very good white head. Hop forward aroma and flavor. Moderate bitterness for the style.

Purchased at Shangy's in Emmaus on our Leonid and Friends, Penn's Peak trip.
LOOK: Pours a watered down and almost faintly pale straw yellow. It does pour a handsome snow white head that persists and retains plenty of side glass lace.
AROMA: Leads with some herbal, aromatic and moderately sharp hops
TASTE: Mildly tart and a little sour. Drying finish.
Has the hops and characteristics I usually associate with a Pilsner style beer as opposed to a Pale Ale.

Golden colour, clear. The beer closes from the top with a tall, white and persistent head. Leaves a lot of decoration.
Aroma fresh, juicy fruity, tropical (hoppy).
Taste very slightly sour with a bitter finish.
Medium saturation. Full body. Smooth texture. Aftertaste long, fruity hoppy, bitter.
