This beer was more reminiscent of soda water than it was of a lager. Lacking in taste and smell.
Almost no head; any head that there was resembled that of Sprite.

Clear dark straw, almost golden color, with a strong amount of activity. Slightly foamy white 2 finger head that last for 10 minutes, with a good amount of legs.

Aromas of sweet grains and corn a little. Flavors of skunk, corn, sweet malts, lemon, and herbal spices. Faint smoky roasted feel with some grass. A bit sugary but more of a sharp bitter lemony feel.

Slick medium body with super prickly carbonation. Light finish that ends with some grassy noble spices and a faint zest.

Overall pretty average in quality: faint flavors, good freshness, a little adjunct and syrupy, strange unique decent hoppy feel, too much carbonation, feels a little like wet cardboard.

The appearance is a rich clear bright gold with a beautiful pour that produces a great head that is around 2 fingers and lasts for around 5 minutes. Besides that it is all downhill with this beer. The Italians need to step their beer game up because a lot of it isn't very good. This beer is watery and weak and resembles an over priced coors light at best. The aroma is malt, that is it, and it isn't a clean malt smell either. It just falls flat and does nothing else and the taste is the same way.

Technically called G. Menabrea e Figli 35 Top Restaurant Birra Legera Bionda. My cousin picked this up for me from Eataly in NY.

Fizzy white lager head over a pale straw beer. I haven't had a beer this low on the Lovibond scale in awhile Great retention for a lager.

Aroma is macro lager fruity? I don't often drink macro lagers, but when I do I'm pretty sure they smell similar. Mildly husky grain.

Tastes like lemongrass and very watered down malt. It tastes like a 3.5% abv. beer. Mouthfeel is similar to a cream ale. Like a cream ale and Coors Light had a baby and it came out like this.

Not bad. Perfect, refreshing, chugalug beer on a hot Summer day such as this. I know that Italians have cheap, lower abv. table wine that's meant to be shard and passed around during meals. I think this beer is along those same lines.
