Lightly foggy yet also lightly sparkling straw yellow with a fuzzy foam head of moderate height retaining thick but airy.
While a little toastier up front than I expect from a blonde, this then glides into a little sweet corn and a touch of nut with just a skosh of astringency.
The medium-light body finishes quite dry, but its expandingly soft carbonation froths up quite a bit more with a swish to help soften it up.

On tap in Rome. Pours golden with white head. Aroma is of grain and some hops. Body is light and smooth. Taste is of some grain and maybe some hops. Finish is short, barely noticeable. Standard macro crap.

This Blonde was welcome on a hot summer day... but was a bit thin by itself.
Yet the evening was saved because it went great with light summer food at an Eataly restaurant.
I'm not a great fan of how lagers Look and their Smells also are not distinctive. Menebrea's blonde follows my bias.
But this has an unusually well-balanced flavor that also goes well with Italian food. For that, it gets its highest marks.

This beer was more reminiscent of soda water than it was of a lager. Lacking in taste and smell.
Almost no head; any head that there was resembled that of Sprite.

The appearance is a rich clear bright gold with a beautiful pour that produces a great head that is around 2 fingers and lasts for around 5 minutes. Besides that it is all downhill with this beer. The Italians need to step their beer game up because a lot of it isn't very good. This beer is watery and weak and resembles an over priced coors light at best. The aroma is malt, that is it, and it isn't a clean malt smell either. It just falls flat and does nothing else and the taste is the same way.

Technically called G. Menabrea e Figli 35 Top Restaurant Birra Legera Bionda. My cousin picked this up for me from Eataly in NY.
Fizzy white lager head over a pale straw beer. I haven't had a beer this low on the Lovibond scale in awhile Great retention for a lager.
Aroma is macro lager fruity? I don't often drink macro lagers, but when I do I'm pretty sure they smell similar. Mildly husky grain.
Tastes like lemongrass and very watered down malt. It tastes like a 3.5% abv. beer. Mouthfeel is similar to a cream ale. Like a cream ale and Coors Light had a baby and it came out like this.
Not bad. Perfect, refreshing, chugalug beer on a hot Summer day such as this. I know that Italians have cheap, lower abv. table wine that's meant to be shard and passed around during meals. I think this beer is along those same lines.
