Notes: Griffon ESB is a well balanced easy drinking traditional English Ale. The 2 row and Crystal malts blend perfectly with the Golding hop a “Classic” of English ales. The gentle herbal aroma of the English hops along with the rich malt flavour make Griffon ESB a must try!

Pours a clear amber with light skiff of white fizz that amounts to nothing. The aroma is predominately caramely with a little herbal hops to off-set the sweetness. Flavor is bready with toffee, honey and some fruity yeast. Pretty sweet with light carbonation. Edges on cloying. This is an all right take on the style. Too sweet/carmelly for my tastes, but not undrinkable either.
