Appearance:
Straw, hazy. Fast rising bubbles. Thick rocky head. Good head retention.

Aroma:
Citrusy, resinous, onion. Some sweet malts.

Taste/Finish/Body:
Hop bitterness up front, citrus, resinous, onion. Low malt profile, sweet pale malts, slight honey-like. I detect some clean lager yeast. Bitter-crisp finish that doesn't linger too long. Light-medium bodied, crisp, highly carbonated, easy drinking.

Overall:
It's out of style. Doesn't taste like a Pilsner, more like a American Pale Ale.

Appearance: Very hazy yellow glass holds a solid cover of white foam that gives up some lace.

Aroma: Mild lime peel, bready malt base.

Taste: Citric peel is strong, brings this much closer to an APA flavor. A little tonic water in the finish, but not as much as I expect from a Pils. It's generally clean and tasty.

Mouthfeel: Fizzy carbonation, medium body, dry finish.

Overall: Easy drinking beer, good flavor but off style.

One of the reviews really crack me up. I know how subjective beer can be to different individuals but c’mon man. Someone wrote that it smelled of “toasted caramel” with a “toasted caramel flavor”. Lol, I don’t know what the hell they were drinking, but it wasn’t this beer. First, it has a sweet citrus, pine resin smell and a taste that follows the nose. It really tastes like an APA or IPA but the lager yeast is present and it doesn’t have the sharp bitterness of an IPA. It’s quite nice, if you like the IPA smell but can’t stand the bitterness give this a try. Very well made.

On tap. Poured out a clear, straw-yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of toasted caramel, grassy hops and floral notes. Nice toasted caramel flavor with some mild hoppy bitterness.

Earthy hops is the best way to describe this beer,

Pours a clear yellow golden color with white head. Cereal grains, a slight grassy hop note, and some hay on the nose; follows onto the palate. Light bodied and pretty clean on the palate. Finishes with a cereal grain note, yet it does not linger, more of a clean finish.

This is a fairly hoppy Pilsner. It tastes fresh, fruity and pleasant. Poured from a can into a tulip glass, clear yellow with a fluffy head and decent lacing. I have been impressed so far with this brewery. I look forward to having more of their beer.

Pours to a lasting head that laces. Clear filtered yellow gold. Hoppy aroma with grass and citrus, dry malt. Flavor is crisp and hop forward, approaching American Pale Ale but with a crisp dry clean finish. Not much sweetness from the malt. These new dry hopped American Pils should be a distinct sub style from straight ahead traditional German and Bohemian Pilsners. They share the dry grainy and clean lager traits of a pils but depart remarkably in the hopping in terms of variety and technique.
