"Inspired by weekly siren tests, Saturday Siren is a crisp and refreshing pilsner built for summer days. Dry hop additions of Idaho 007 and Comet bring new world flavor to this old world style. The lake, the pool and the grill are calling, so pack the cooler and get outside.

I like this beer. A lot. It's not a German pilsner. I generally review and score beers relative to style. To me this is a hybrid between German pils and a pale ale. I'm not sure what it is. I just know I like it and I'll keep drinking it.
Poured from a 12 oz can into a standard pint glass. Clear and yellow in color, there is a thick, pillowy head that leaves nice lacing. Smells like hay and noble hops. Firmly hoppy up front like a pale ale, it finishes mellow and bready like a pilsner.
This is a great sunshiny day kind of beer. It pairs well with anything grilled.
More, please.

L: Pours a hazy yellow with an orange tint when held up to the light, comes with a bitchin two-finger white head with good retention.
S: Hoppy citrus, slightly bready, malts, straw.
T: Very hop-forward pilsner, the hops is the main flavor & you get bread flavor on the finish.
F: Medium-bodied, high carbonation, clean, crisp & crushable.
O: Very good dry-hopped pilsner, not to much bitterness.

This just does not taste like a German Pilsner to me. The taste is just a bit bitter (especially the finish) to fall fully into this category of beers. That being said, it is not a bad beer. The straw color looks nice, the smell is decent and it goes down well. I would not mind having it again, but it is not one of my top Pilsners.

On draught:
Pours a hazy straw color. White head that laces and retains fairly well.
Aroma is sweet and citrusy with some bready malts there.
Taste is a good balance of malts, citrus, hops and yeast. Aftertaste is a tad on the bitter side.
Feel: good carbonation, medium bodied. I would not recommend drinking this beer too quickly but it’s easy to drink. Crisp and refreshing.
Overall: I like it, but I don’t love it. Not what I was expecting from a Pilsner. Came out of left field for me. That said, it’s worth a try.

Tried this for the first time today, and it's a decent beer, but I agree it's not a true German Pilisiner. The hops give it a slight bitter finish that's pleasing. It goes well with food and is a good all around beer for summer.
