Copenhagen 11/6 2020. 33 cl bottle from Kvickly, Allerød. Drawing of crowdsurfing dude in a rubber dinghy. The name of the beer seems to be pretty accurate.
Pours unclear pale yellow with small white head. Settles as thin, layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with light sweetness followed by a strong citric, tart sourness. Sweet malts and bread. Citrus, tangerine and unripe gooseberries. Hints of pepper and coriander.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a stronger, tart, citric sourness. Aftertaste is sour and bitter and lingers for a bit. Finish is tart and dry.
More than decent Saison doing what a Saison is supposed to do.
