A - pours an orangish amber with above 1.5 finger head
S - hops burst out of this beer into my nose with sweet citrus and fruits with a tinge of onion
T - this is a hop bomb all the way. Starts off with sweet citrus malts. These give way to a caramel malt base that is quickly overwhelmed by the onslaught of bitter grapefruit with a modicum of onion. Ends really bitter with a grapefruit rind bitterness.
M - creamy and full; goes down smoothly
D - this is an in your face IPA with loads of bold hop flavor. If hop bombs are your thing and you are passing by DES Moines, make this a priority to try.
