660ml bottle. Timmermans Flute glass. Enjoyed on feb´13. Reddish amber color. Foggy appearance. Off-white froth with fairly good retention. Spots on sides & thin lasting layer on top. Caramel malt & toasted malt aromas, winey hues, hints of honey, candies, grape & graprefruit to the nose. Toasted malty upfront with acidic/sour touch. Funny & sparkling palate. Ligth to medium body. Moderate to high carbonation. Grapefruit/orange & grape zest hues provides gentle citric astringency in the middle while increasing bitterness is shown. Bitter notes linger into a long fruity finish. Fresh wood on the aftertaste. Flavorful dense sediments are left at the bottom. Well balanced flavors & aromas. Smooth & refreshing drinkability. Excelent pairing with Spanish Paella.
