Pours a golden color with good clarity. White fizzy head is gone in a short time. The aroma has a bit of spice, herbs, hay, and candy like sweetness.
In the taste, spicy, yeasty flavors along with lemongrass, clove, and chive. Fairly bitter and ample earthiness. Little to no alcohol flavor is noticeable. Earthy, herbal, spicy saison.
Medium bodied, well carbonated beer. Pretty easy to drink. Overall, a slightly stronger than average saison that does the job.
