We’re celebrating where it all started. Our hometown. Yinzer Lager is brewed for steel-city lager lovers. It boasts a refreshing pilsner malt character with light cracker and biscuit-like flavors. European noble hops add bright citrusy and floral notes.

Had this on 2024-05-18 near Pittsburgh, PA from a fresh 12oz canned on 2024-04-17
L - Clear straw-gold with a 1-finger white head and moderate lace
S - Big whiff of Pilsner malt, floral, hint of lemon. Noble hops for sure.
T - Really pleasantly malt forward. Lemon, honeysuckle. Very mild bitterness (25 IBU) for balance.
F - Light-medium body and carbonation. Smooth and then crisper on the finish. Very refreshing.
O - This is a very well done, German lager. I'm lucky to be living in the only part of the country that gets this beer.
Notes: "Yinzer" is a term used to describe people from the Pittsburgh region who speak with a heavy Pittsburghese accent and use the second-person plural pronoun "yinz". The term comes from early Scottish-Irish immigrants who brought the word to the area, which is equivalent to "you all".
