330ml bottle bought from The House of 100 Breton Beers, Locranon, France..
Poured a very deep black / brown colour. Burnt brown head poured pretty thick, foamy and meringue like then faded to light covering with thick edging... some light lines of lacing ring the glass...
Aroma - Dark toasted malts, metallic notes, black coffee, some dark brown sugar sweetness, light nuttiness, some blackcurrant and raisin fruitiness, faint liquorice traces, some graininess coming through, dusty hints...
Taste - Watered down roasted maltiness mixed with nutty notes, some molasses / treacle sweetness, light chocolate mixed with black cherry and blackcurrant fruits, light nutmeg and pepper spiciness, some light vegetal traces just noticeable, cola hints...
Feel - Way too over carbonated this one which really spoils it both in terms of flavour and drinkability...
Overall - A bit disappointing as all the other Les Fous beers i've had have been very good... sort out the carbonation and this could be very good..

Taste and mouthfeel : dark bitter chocolate and roasted flavours with bitter finish (a slightly pungent).
Drinkability : a good beer in the English style dark Oatmeal Stout.
Still a pretty label for all Orson beers.

Black liquid, compact tan head with small bubbles, settles slowly to a ring around the outside of the glass that stays till it's all gone.
Roasted barley aroma, hints of coffee and chocolate.
Rich, complex taste. Fresh cream, bitter dark chocolate, and hazelnuts together with the roasted barley taste. Medium sweetness, a little bit of underlying hop bitterness and some roasted barley bitterness in the finish.
Velvety smooth, low carbonation is spot on. Medium fullness - not as thick as the milkshake like stouts.
Certainly a very well made beer, and very drinkable. I'd love to try the real ale version.
