330ml bottle bought from The House of 100 Breton Beers, Locranon, France
Poured a light golden straw colour. White head poured quite loose and frothy then faded to light covering... some light carbonation bubbles drift slowly to the surface... light lacing...
Aroma - Some juicy tart fruits with maybe some tropical hints (peaches, lemons and limes, pears,), quite grassy, floral honey, light sweet grainy malts, pine, talcum powder traces, herbal, peppery and citrusy hops...
Taste... Decent peppery and citrus hop bitterness, quite floral, metallic hints, light sweet biscuit malts, juicy fruits (lemons, apples, limes), some saltiness, faint floral honey sweetness...
M&D - Fairly sharp and dry... light bodied... pretty quaffable at 4.0% but maybe a little one dimensional...
Overall - A very good take on an English pale ale... nothing groundbreaking but worth a try...
