This is a pretty good cream ale, very much like the few US micro/craft-brew cream ales I've had and particularly similar to Anderson Valley's Summer Solstice Cerveza Crema, although it looks better. In other words, it's pleasant and somewhat tasty, smooth but rather bland.
Dark gold, it has a big, creamy white head that slowly shrinks to a foamy top with nice rings of lace.
The aroma is malty and appley, a little musty, with a hint of old, earthy bread.
The taste is similar, smooth in flavour malty with some musty grain and apple, a biscuity quality in the finish, a hint of grass, simple but very good. It has almost no bitterness or compelxity but a nice, smooth, feel to it.
