Light beer with coriander or bitter orange peel spices added, giving this beer a slightly fruity flavor.

my first from these guys and its a great first impression, a fairly complex with here, and a beer thats objectively better and more interesting than what a lot of american breweries are doing with this style, i really enjoyed this as a refresher after a long day of travel and work. it pours pretty nice from the tap, a shade deeper than golden, very pale orange, with a short but lasting white head. orange peel in the nose, a neat belgian yeast ester thans not generic to me, a white wine note, some honey character, nutty toasted coriander, and just a bit of sweetness in the wheat base, really balanced and well proportioned, smells as refreshing as it ends up drinking. the flavor is yeast driven, not too much of the orange or coriander, i get more of both of them in the nose than in the flavor. the yeast is light spicy but more white pepper than anise or clove to me, and its just off dry but the sweetness that lingers tastes delicious, citrusy and earthy at the same time. this is delicate in texture, not overly full body from the wheat, and its well carbonated. i like the way the orange and coriander are subservient to the yeast, and how its not just the same old fermentation profile. they really hit the mark with this one, super summery and drinkable, really good wit.
