I put this in the English Style IPA because of the nice balance between the hops and the malt.
24k gold colour, 1" head of foam with good lacing.
The smell was very balanced. Hop, malt, some notes of rye. None dominated but the aroma was very nice/.
The taste was equally balanced. Nice sweet notes from the malt, an equally proportioned amount of bitterness, some spicy rye notes. Very nice taste and easy to drink. I was going to vote this as the best beer for the event but Snake River Pako's was also there and I couldn't help myself by passing the vote to anything other than the Pako's. Definitely a beer to try if you get the chance though.
