Served on-draught into stemware at Brasserie 4:20 in Roma, Italy. Reviewed from notes.
A: Pours a three finger head of nice cream lacing, fair thickness, and great retention for the ABV. Colour is a dark amber.
Sm: Cherry fruit ester hops and cream. A moderate strength, pleasant aroma.
T: Cherry syrupy ester hops, caramel, bad amber hops, and Noel Ale-esque esters and spices mixed with heavy barley. Overtly sweet. It's balanced, but lacks inspiration. A strange build without any real focus.
Mf: Smooth and wet. It doesn't complement the flavours though, because it's syrupy thick and overdone.
Dr: An overly sweet, poorly focused beer with a high price tag. Avoid this one, lads. I know I'll never have it again.
