Served in straight pint glass. Poured a very pleasant, clean copper color, with just under an inch of off-white head that had OK retention and good lacing.
The aroma was nicely piney, with some floral notes at the back. The flavor was a large blast of hop tartness, mostly pine with some citrus dryness at the back of the mouth.
The body was a bit fuller than typical for the style and really gave good support to the hops. Drinkability was very good for a beer this size, I'll certainly be drinking more. Overall, a wonderful example of the style, worth seeking out in its limited release.

Imperial Project is IIPA Single Hop using Amarillo. A big beer~!
A: Poured a golden orange color with good carbonation and a nice white head
S: Plenty of flowery and citrus goodness, smelled bitter and dry
T: Wow. Big bitter hops up front and all the way through. Goes back and forth between citrus and floral, sting of booze and feel of caramel malt perhaps
M: Booze, very bitter, very good, hops stay on the palate for awhile with this one. The booze is evident after one.
D: A must try.
