on-tap, Chucks 85th Mkt
appearance: served in a mason mug, very dark body for the style - muddy brown-orange, light beige film and minimal retention
smell: grain, caramel malt, pumpkin seed
taste: I think this is made with toasted pumpkin seeds which results in a somewhat unpronounced pumpkin flavor - minimal spicing as well. Grainy with a rustic autumnal charm - just not a great pumpkin ale
mouthfeel: medium body
overall: ok - a pass in the pumpkin style

A: Poured a thinnish, glowing punpkin orange color with good carbonation and a dirty white head.
S: Faint pumpkin, grains and unappealing
T: The pumpkin was hidden beneath like tasted what I would think old spent grains would taste, weak malt, too much carbonation. Way off the mark.
M: Thinnish, overcarbonated left belching, no pumpkin taste at all until the end when even then its a bad pumpkin flavor, weak
D: Avoid this.
