Served in tulip. Poured a very hazy, or lightly cloudy, yellow with just the thinnest ring of white foam around the rim of the glass, which had OK retention and no lacing.
The aroma was full of bright sour funkiness, but I picked up zero peach scent. Way underneath the tartness was a slight earthy grain scent. On the tongue, Whooo Boy!, was this puppy sour. Just a big, bold blast of tongue shriveling sourness. Again, I didn't find any peach flavor, but I didn't care, I was just digging that sour flavor.
The beer was medium bodied, with a crisp, dry finish. Drinkability was great, if you like sours. Overall, if they had just called this a straight sour, I would have scored it a bit higher, but since there was none of the fruit mentioned in the name, I dinged it a bit. A must try if you like sours and see it.
