If this is one of the "Imperial Series" beers already listed, please combine. This is how it was listed where I had it. Served in tulip. Poured a very pretty honey-amber color with about 3/4 inch of bright white head that moderate retention and lacing.
The aroma had lots of bright pine hops upfront, with just a touch of malt showing through, and a hint of citrus hops in the background. The beer started out the same on the tongue, but then some citrus started taking over in the middle of the palate. Then the malts and pine combined for an almost foresty (first time I've used that descriptor) finish.
The body was on the light side of medium for the style, and the finish was just a wee bit sticky from the malts. Drinkability was excellent, the beer went down way too quickly and easily. Overall, a very nice beer, very much worth your time if you see it.
