Pours an effervescent ebony with a thumb of caramel colored head. Viscious, good lacing, not great head retention
S: Red Wine, figs, a little bit of booze
T: Red Wine , raisin, sour cherry & oaky dryness, some tartness as well up front. Slight sourness, with a little cherry & fig, plus plenty of dryness, a with a little red grape thrown in as this warms, just a whisper of funk there too. Finishes with red grape, oaky dyness & a little funk & a little black cherry
MF: Medium body, sublime carbonation, warming
This is a very interesting offering, drinks alright for the heft & complexity, I was happy to find this
