12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It smelled of caramel, toffee and mild citrus notes. Sweet caramel and a subtle bitterness.

Decent coppery color with a nice head. Really nice lacing as it goes down the glass. Malty aroma with a bit of a sharp hop bite. Nice, sweet malt flavor upfront. Definate hop presence in the flavor and finish. A bit too sharp for my liking, though that does not detract. Lingering malt finish. Very soft mouthfeel-almost creamy. While not overly impressed when I dove into this six pack it has really grown on me. Decent maerzen for sure. had never heard of this brewery and it shows up in DE-go figure.

Pours a clear, amber color. 3/4 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and good lacing. Smells of sweet malt, slight caramel malt, hops, hint of alcohol, slight yeast, and a hint of smoke. Fits the style of a Marzen / Oktoberfest. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, hops, slight caramel malt, hint of yeast, and a hint of smoke. Overall, good appearance, aroma, feel, blend, and body. More authentic, than the majority of American Marzen / Oktoberfest beers I've had.

Neighbor brought a six-pack of Crown Vallet Oktoberfest beer to a Octoberfest party. The beer poured a rich clear golden brown and had a thin white head which laced nicely. The smell included malt, barley and some hops. The taste was a very nice balance of malt, sweetness and Saaz hops. The mouthfeel was good...decent carbonation that faded toward the end. Over all a good marzen style beer...probably one of the better ones.
