Bottle: a solid, stumpy, embossed brown 500mL bottle with a decent label.
Appearance: pours out a fairly dark nut brown. Slightly cloudy with limited carbonation visible. A very small off-white head with no lacing. Looks okay, but not great for a limited batch.
Aroma: some spices and caramel malts, but really not much to it.
Taste: again mostly some spice and caramels. There really isn't very much to this one. Pretty boring.
Aftertaste: drops away pretty quickly too - not much of a beer.
Mouth feel: light- to-moderate in feel with a lower carbonation. I think it really needed some more carbonation.
Overall: a pretty boring 'limited edition' beer. I definitely won't be bothering with Stone Beer in the future. Could have used more flavour / carbonation.
