A nice variant of Seven - muddy mahogany body - the bourbon notes are on the subtle side but the elder flower is quite nice. Everything worked pretty well here - Seven is probably my favorite of the standard numbered saisons and this was one of the better variants I've stumbled upon.

Review #1900 woohoo! On tap at Upright. What a magnificent beer.
The nose is soft, with spicy earthy, floral hops, rye, vanilla, oatmeal and a decidedly fruity and floral note. Rose, hibiscus, elderflower aromatics are present both on the nose and on the palate. Beautiful stuff.
