Growler from Upright. A hoppy saison? Yes please.

Pouring a mildly hazy yellow with a dense, white head that falls off to a thin disk leaving nice lacing, this looks great. The nose is brightly hoppy with a blend of lemongrass, citrons, white peaches, white grapes and a mild, dusty yeast note. Floral honey, a little bit of a clove note is present as well. Excellent stuff. The palate opens bright, hoppy and bitter with a blend of lemon oils, honey, a minty and earthy bitterness up front. This is followed by a delicious blend of hop flavors - grapes, citrus, mint, earth - and some saison yeast character - dusty, earthy and mildly spicy. Light in body and moderately carbonated (overcarbed at the tap room) this beer finishes dry, mildly bitter with residual hop oils (minty and earthy). Most awesome.
