Boom Biddy Bine Bine is an extra smooth fresh hop saison made with hallertau from Annen Brothers farm. That's a low oil variety that along with a cool open fermentation yielded a delicate brew with great mid-palate balance, finishing with a touch of malt character and pleasant mineral/metallic notes, combining historic and modern flavors. 5.6%

I like Upright brewing a lot, but this experiment is a fail. The beer is a fresh hop saison, and the wet hops they used for the recipe, seemed to impart some weird skunky notes on the finish. The flavor profile actually starts out great, as you get some honey, ranier cherry and dry hoppy bitterness, but then the weird skunky flavor comes on in the finish, and the beer is just no fun to drink. Really surprised by this effort from Upright; generally, they literally are a can't miss brewery in my book. Oh well... no one's perfect.
