Session saison made in collaboration with brewers from Oersoep and Oedipus, two Dutch breweries. The guys were excited to use local ingredients, so we decided to use a base of Mecca Grade pils malt from central Oregon. It lends a distinct cucumber note that mixes well with the heavy hop load of Mt. Hood, columbia, liberty, and santiam, the last two varieties being employed as double dryhops. A pinch of rye accentuates the hop bite and makes for an appetizing finish.

Pours a clear, gold color. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Good retention and decent lacing. Smells of bacterial funk, wine, citrus, yeast, and alcohol. Fits the style of a Saison / Farmhouse Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. There is also a noticeable tartness. Tastes of bacterial funk, hint of hop, wine, citrus, yeast, and alcohol. Overall, good appearance, aroma, body, blend, but low complexity.
