On tap at Upright today. A blend of the last batch (barrel?) of Four and the first batch of Saison Vert.

A clear straw yellow with a dense, off-white head, this looks solid. The nose is a blend of the base Four and some lemony and mildly funky notes from the Vert. The black lime notes are clearly present, along with a grainy, wheaty note from the base Four. The palate replicates these flavors, along with a noticeably dry and grainy feel and finish. Strangely, though, this beer doesn't play to the strengths of either of the base beers - the brightness from fresh Four is lost, and the subtle beauty and delicacy of Saison Vert is missing as well. That said - i would be very happy to drink this again.
