Veenbes Saison was brewed for the change from fall to winter. A brown saison that starts with a spicy nose, the Veenbes transitions from malty flavors up front to a tart middle created by cranberries added mid-fermentation. The finish is smooth and dry, making this seasonal beer easy drinking.

On tap at Upright.
Dark brown no head. On the nose, this has Dark brown sugar, dark caramel, toast, earth, wheat bread, spice, tart cranberries. The palate opens with a grainy grist- like character and earth with fruity cranberries, tart and a little earthy. Clove, pepper are also present
Drying, earthy, mildly hoppy with herb on the finish. Medium light in body and moderately carbonated, finish has lingering earth. Solid
