This pleasant 'chocolate, chocolate' Imperial Stout feels smooth over the palate. It seems a little light for an Imperial but the double chocolate, coffee-ish flavor ameliorates this. It tastes smooth and light at first but finishes malty with the hint of a chocolate aftertaste. Overall, an excellent beer -- were I man enough to session an Imperial Stout, this would be the choice.

Whitstran calls this a "Chocolate Chocolate" Imperial Stout because it's brewed with baker's cocoa and chocolate malts. The cocoa works nicely in the nose and contributes a defining chocolaty character to the taste. The taste also harbors some alcohol and comes across as earthy. But the body is smooth. Worthy of a pint or two should you get the chance.
