Very good RIS. Exceptionally smooth... almost nitro. But keeps the clean drinkability that nitro off overwhelms. Not as burley Hop wise as a traditional RIS. But absolutely delicious. Well gone!

Pitch black with a nice sized tan head on top. Aroma of burnt malt and coffee. Killer roasted flavor. Again burnt, roasted theme dominates. Heavier hand on the hops then I care for but just stellar in the balance department. Finish is quite dry. Full bodied mouthfeel with a lingering bite in the back of the tongue. Just a killer RIS. These guys have taken their Rise Up and adapted it several different ways. This is a classic RIS-reminds me of the Menagerie 5 without the barrel, which is more than fine by me. Love my local.

On tap at the Evolution emporium in Salisbury. This is the old Evolution RIS, reformulated and taken to the eleven.

A thick-looking big stout with nice lacing and a roasty nose. Hoppy in the mouth (50 IBU) and nice coffee flavor at the end of the ship. Superb mouthfeel and drinkability- a winner all around.
