Update2020:
Beer has softened and flavors are richer. It remains nicely smooth. Worth a ramp up in taste if not velvet smoothness with 3 years aging.
2017 bottle: Delicious variant in Evo BA STOUT. Actually takes on the flavor on a blend of stout and old ale. The BA vanilla and hints of bourbon come though but as they should... nicely complementary vs up front. There is a big malt base with strains of dried fruit and bitter molasses. Hop bitterness is noted but not featured overall.
Outstanding is the velvety mouthfeel. Creamy and sooooo smooth. Very special sipper. Major kudos to brewers for such a sublime full rich sipping beer.
