Bottle from EVO tasting room. Mirrors expected style / no issues. Came across a little light. Bourbon unpronounced. Unsure how long in the barrels. EVO RIS had thinned considerably in the barreling.
Good beer and good price point. But way too many BBA IS out there still to try... and many excellent ones already had if I ever wanted to go back for the same BBA IS/RIS again.

A- Black with a two finger mocha head.
S- Coffee, chocolate, some bourbon, hints of vanilla.
T- Roasted coffee, some chocolate, hints of bourbon, touch of caramel malts.
M- Smooth, medium to full body.
O- Another solid version of Rise Up, bourbon is mild, worth picking up. Easy to drink for 10% ABV.

Pours thick with a nice tan head.Smell is strong coffee with a hint of barrel. Taste is coffee, chocolate, roast, with an after taste of bourbon. Nice and thick with great lacing. This beer is not a bourbon bomb. The barrel comes in the aftertaste. It perfectly compliments the strong coffee flavor of the base beer.
